Introduction
Thermal-XR® South Africa ("we", "us") brings Thermal-XR® to the South African market. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect the details you provide: your first and last name, email address, and optionally your phone number, business name and the contents of your message, together with your consent to be contacted.
For security we also store a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address (never the raw IP) to detect and prevent spam and abuse of the form.
Why we collect it
We process your information to respond to your enquiry, provide product information and pricing, and protect the website from abuse. We do this on the basis of your consent and our legitimate business interests.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to operate the site: an email delivery provider (to send us your enquiry) and a database hosting provider (to store enquiries). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
Some providers may process data outside South Africa; where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and for reasonable business record-keeping, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
Cookies
This website uses only essential and functional storage needed for the site to work (for example, remembering your display theme). We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies in this version of the site.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
